This week at Group Metropolitan we are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week with a packed schedule of learning and team building!

We kicked things off yesterday with two fantastic site visits:

Our Mechanical Apprentices visited IMPERIAL MECHANICAL BUILDING SERVICES LTD gaining hands-on insight into the prefab process, following a project from tender drawing to fabrication and final cut sheets. Live welding demos, pipework identification, and even trying welding themselves!

Our Electrical Apprentices visited AF Switchgear for full insight into the panel manufacturing process, from initial enquiry to a fully assembled product. They explored design, fabrication, assembly, welding, painting, and testing, seeing how everything comes together.
